Setanta facing sideline spell with calf injury
July 18, 2008
Setanta O hAilpin is facing a spell of “two to three weeks” on the sidelines with a calf injury, according to a release from the Carlton Blues Football Club.
The Blues take on Tadhg Kennelly’s Swans in the Testra Dome this Sunday with the Kerry star committed to playing through his recurring shoulder injury. But Setanta has been left out of both the Blues seniors and the Carlton reserves team, the Bullants, for this weekend’s games, with the calf injury cited as the reason.
It has also been reported that Setanta’s younger brother Aisake is set to miss a month with a strained knee.
